In addition to the different kinds of work visas that are currently available, which typically have two or three years of validity, the UAE launched the green visa in 2022 for skilled workers, investors, partners, independent contractors, and freelancers. This visa permits these individuals to live and work in the nation for longer than that of a standard work visa. it provides more features and advantages as well.
UAE Green Visa Characteristics
Unlike regular visa types, which often need a sponsor to be a UAE national or an employer, the UAE Green Visa is a form of residential visa that enables eligible people to sponsor themselves. It is valid for five years and permits them to continue living in the same manner with their spouse, kids, and first-degree relatives. Sons can be sponsored under other visa categories up until the age of 18, but under the green visa, they can be sponsored up until the age of 25. Additionally, unmarried daughters and children of determination are eligible for sponsorship at any age.
